Engineers Without Borders UK is leading efforts to put global responsibility at the heart of how engineering is taught and practiced. We envision a future where the needs of all people are balanced with the needs of our planet.

Change is complex, uncomfortable, and frustrating. But more importantly, it’s worth the investment — to teach better and to make positive and long-lasting improvements within our educational system. During this interactive hour, Engineers Without Borders UK will share their experience in navigating this space, through the Engineering for People Design Challenge and Reimagined Degree Map, to meaningfully empower educators to drive curriculum change and integrate global responsibility, sustainability, and ethics into engineering education.

Speaker:

  • Tom Whitehead – Programme Manager, Engineers Without Borders UK

This SEFI@work session is organized by the SEFI Curriculum Development SIG.
