Dassault Systèmes, the 3DEXPERIENCE Company, provides businesses and people with virtual universes to imagine sustainable innovations. Its 3DEXPERIENCE Platform leverages the Company’s world-leading 3D software applications to transform the way products are designed, produced, and supported, enabling businesses to craft delightful customer experiences.

SEFI is the broadest European network for engineering education. By gathering leaders and educational innovators from all countries of the Union, it has provided Dassault Systemes with numerous opportunities to elevate our conversations with academia to the level of strategic considerations that matter to institutions when it comes to the digital transformation of education and to enhancing graduates’ readiness to address the industry of the future. Quality interactions with the educational innovators who constitute the core of SEFI’s membership, have fueled our uninterrupted commitment to the Society during the ten last years.

Founded in 1994 as a spin-out from the University of Cambridge, Granta helps hundreds of engineering enterprises to manage information on the materials (metals, plastics, composites, and more) that are essential to their businesses.

Founded in 1984, MathWorks is the leading developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists. Mathlab is the cutting edge mathematical modelling software used at most of the higher engineering education institutions.

MathWorks supports engineering education societies, like SEFI, with whom we share goals related to fostering innovation and discovery in engineering education. Our sponsorship of SEFI provides the opportunity to engage more deeply with leadership from universities across Europe and other SEFI members about the trends and challenges impacting engineering education and to exchange ideas and knowledge about how to address these issues with insights into industry best practices. We participate in a range of panels, workshops, presentations and tutorials on topics that align with SEFI’s mission of developing engineering education excellence and demonstrate our commitment to changing the world by accelerating the pace of discovery and learning in engineering and science.

National Instruments equips educators with the tools to go beyond theory and simulation to help students realize what it means to do engineering. NI LabVIEW graphical system design software and modular hardware connect curriculum with the real world in a complete platform that accelerates productivity, experimentation, and learning.

National Instruments was founded with the understanding that there is an important partnership between industry and educators to ensure students are prepared to tackle complex technical challenges. Being a partner in societies such as SEFI provides us with the valuable input needed to enhance our academic offering and to work with leading educators to define, propose and outline strategies for the engineering education trends and challenges. This membership gives us access to the SEFI community through writing articles, participating in panel discussions, workshops and presenting at the SEFI conferences  to achieve a mutual goal of accelerating and enhancing Engineering and Science Education.
