As we conclude the 2024–2025 SEFI year, we are proud to share SEFI’s Annual Report—a reflection of a vibrant year filled with collaboration, innovation, and growth in engineering education. This report captures the collective efforts of our diverse community of educators, researchers, students, industry representatives, and partners who continue to shape the future of engineering education across Europe and beyond.

The strength of SEFI lies in its people. Supported by our dedicated Brussels office and an ever-growing network of brilliant colleagues from across the continent, we have made meaningful strides in advancing SEFI’s mission. From thought-provoking conferences and workshops to impactful publications and outreach initiatives, this year has been a testament to what we can achieve together.

Among the many highlights, the SEFI 2024 Annual Conference in Lausanne stood out as a hub of global exchange, featuring a record number of high-quality papers and workshops. We celebrated excellence through the SEFI Awards and deepened our commitment to ethical and interdisciplinary education through initiatives like the Ethics Spring School and the PhD Summer School. Our geographical reach expanded with regional meetings and new voices joined us through SIG activities, SEFI@work sessions, and the growing SEFI Podcast series.
