It collects the presentations of the International Symposium organized by the U. of Valladolid and SEFI CDWG last May. It can be downloaded from http://www.eup.uva.es/simposio09/english.htm. Active members of CDWG can get a free printed copy upon request to Urbano Domínguez (udg@uva.es).

“EUGENE” is accepted !
The EUropean & Global ENgineering Education Academic Network has been selected by the EC for funding under the LLP Programme. The project kick-off meeting will be held in Florence on November 13th 2009, with a meeting of the Management Committee to be held in Bonn on 4 November. The project has been submitted by the University of Florence with SEFI as one of the main partners.
International Round Table Conference, Brussels, 20 November 2009
On 20 November 2009, SEEI (www.seei.org) organises in cooperation with CLAIU and SEFI, a Round Table on “Educating the European Engineer for the challenges of the 21st Century”. It will be the occasion to listen the presentations of eminent actors involved in engineering education and to discuss with them a series of hot topics. A new SEFI - TKK Publication!
“European Continuing Engineering Education – Conceptualizing the Lessons Learned”
Upon initiative and coordination by SEFI WCEE Chair Markku Markkula, the book is an attempt to systematize and conceptualize the phenomena prevalent in today’s CEE. The field abounds in efforts to raise the level and quality of lifelong learning in engineering.
