SEFI is launching a new award to encourage the excellence in developing teaching and learning in engineering education at the universities. Francesco Maffioli Award will be first awarded at the 2017 Annual Conference in Terceira.At SEFI Annual Conference 2017, the new Francesco Maffioli award has been announced. Through this award, we would like to encourage recognition of the the excellence in developing teaching and learning in engineering education at the universities. The first winner will be announced in 2018 Annual Conference at DTU.
Criteria: Open-minded development of curriculum, learning environments or tools, novel didactics, methods or systems in engineering studies.
Who can be nominated: An individual teacher or a team of teachers of higher educational institutions.
Who can nominate: SEFI higher education institute members.
Award: 750 €, plenary presentation at SEFI Annual Conference, and free travel and attendance to the SEFI Annual Conference (one person, if a team).
