This year the best papers were awarded in 4 categories, including a diversity and inclusiveness award in memory of Prof Susanne Ihsen. We sincerely congratulate the 2026 SEFI Best Paper winners!
SEFI has renewed its Memorandum of Understanding with the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). It was signed on 10 September 2026, at the SEFI Annual Conference in Prague, by presidents Agnieszka Miguel (ASEE) and Emanuela Tilley (SEFI).
By extending this long-standing partnership, we are reinforcing our shared commitment to global collaboration, academic excellence, and innovation in engineering education across both sides of the Atlantic. Together, we will continue to drive impactful research, support educators, and prepare the next generation of engineers for global challenges.
As part of the MOU, ASEE and SEFI share the objectives to:
- Enhance the quality of engineering/engineering technology education at all academic levels
- Promote new ideas in engineering/engineering technology education and pedagogy
- Encourage the exchange and dissemination of knowledge advancing engineering/engineering technology
education - Promote collaboration within the global community with other stakeholders
