Governance & Leadership
- Shape SEFI’s direction by voting on key decisions, electing leaders, and approving policies at the General Assembly. Voting power is based on the number of engineering students:
- Fewer than 400 students: 2 votes
- 401–2,000 students: 4 votes
- 2,001–5,000 students: 6 votes
- 5,001–10,000 students: 8 votes
- More than 10,000 students: 10 votes
- Enjoy leadership opportunities. Institutional members are eligible to stand for election to the Board of Directors and presidencies (two-thirds of board members must represent institutional members).
Innovative Projects
- Spearhead or contribute to innovative projects through one or more of the thirteen Special Interest Groups. The Special Interest Groups are focused on physics, mathematics, continuing engineering education and lifelong learning, diversity, equity and inclusion, digital learning, sustainability, attractiveness, engineering skills, ethics, engineering education research, curriculum development, capacity building, quality assurance and accreditation, and entrepreneurship.

According to Belgian law, 21% VAT will be charged to the European members without a VAT number and to all Belgian members.
