Since 2004, Susanne is Professor for Gender Studies in Science and Engineering, Technische Universität München (TUM).
Her research fields:
- Gender and Diversity in organisations
- Gender and Diversity in Education of Science and Engineering
- Gender and Diversity in Professions of Science and Engineering
From 1999 to 2004, she is scientific staff member and manager oft the department „Profession and Career“ at the VDI Association of German Engineers.
Her work fields: career consulting, students and young engineers, women in engineering
From 1994 to 1999 scientific assistant and PhD at the RWTH Aachen.
Research fields:  change management in traditional systems  - women in science and engineering
