Nowadays Development is only viable when it is produced in a sustainable way. Furthermore, and at the same time, it is necessary to solve marginalized sectors needing and resources distribution, promoting social inclusion.
Engineering, particularly its education, has a fundamental role in achieving these goals. It is important to include these issues not only in the Engineering courses syllabus but increasing the number and diversity of students.
This forum, which will take place for the first time ever in Argentina and that will bring together the biggest and most important international organizations devoted to Engineering Education, hope to be the place in which this issues will be discussed aiming to the definition of policies and strategies that contribute to sustainable development and social inclusion from education.
